šŸŽ…šŸ¼ HOLIDAY DENTAL TIPS FOR PARENTS & CHILREN:

  • Make Dental Care Festive: Give kids a new holiday‑themed toothbrush or flavored toothpaste as a stocking stuffer. It makes brushing more fun.

  • Encourage Family Brushing Time: Turn brushing into a family activity—play holiday music while brushing together to make it fun.

  • Don’t Use Teeth as a "Nutcracker": Remind kids not to crack nuts, open packages, or bite hard candy with their teeth. This can cause chips or breaks.

  • Stick to Brushing Routines: Even during travel or late nights, make sure kids brush twice a day and floss once. Pack travel toothbrushes and toothpaste so routines don’t get skipped.

  • Watch Out for Hidden Sugars: Drinks like hot cocoa, cider, and soda can be full of sugar. Offer water or milk as alternatives.

  • Schedule Dental Checkups: The holiday break is a good time to book cleanings or exams for the new year.
